Sea Bird 03.07.2010

We all met at Drovers on the corner of Wanneroo Rd and Joondalup Dve at 9am. Once everyone was there, about 7 or 8 4x4's, we headed up Wanneroo Road till we got to Sea Bird. Once we got there we all stopped and let our tyres down and headed in towards the river. Once we got there we got out and looked at the river to make sure it wasn't to deep and that we can drive through it, not across it through it. Keefie walked a bit and said it was fine so then Keefie, Adam, Josh and Jordon started to make our way through the river till we reached a sandbank and waited for the 4 of us to bunch back up again. While in the mean time the other cars were driving along the side of the river just crossing it from time to time. We drove up the river for a while till keefie got stuck, blames it on not having enough travel in his suspension. So Adam had to drop in the river and snatch him out, when getting in the river he went in on an angle instead of straight and had to have Keefie Josh and Jordon all hanging off the drivers side to keep that side down. So the Nissan Navara pulled out Keefies Hilux, Nissan 1 - Toyota 0. As we went up further we had to stop and walk a bit, well keefie did anyway. He was to far away to get his car so he let Kane drive and he got through it fine no trouble at all. Jordon then decided to go and he took the wrong line so his front left wheel got sucked under, so Kane decided to reverse back and snatch him out. When Kane went to snatch Jordon out Kane managed to get the hilux stuck aswell. So again Adam dropped into the river further up and had to snatch the hilux out, Nissan 2 - Toyota 0. Once we got Keefie's car out we still had Jordons Triton. So Josh in his Navara ended up snatching him out. We went a bit further up and that is where we ended, meeting up with the others and having lunch then going home.
